Romeo DiBattista Jr. is an entrepreneur and active member of his community in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He leads Brovi Investments Limited (a real estate investment firm) and The Recycling Depot Group of Companies (a waste management services organization). Throughout his career, Romeo has always sought out opportunities for innovation and improvement wherever he can. This translates over to his community involvement as well. Romeo supports the SickKids Foundation, a Toronto-based organization fighting for the welfare of sick children. SickKids aims to tackle some of the most pressing issues in child health today, including lack of funding, outdated tools or resources, inaccessibility based on location, and the need for compassionate care. Romeo has also donated to the St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation, which raises funding for research, education, and caring efforts at St. Michael’s Hospital. In addition, he supports events that are dedicated to raising funds for health issues, such as the Wake Up Call Breakfast for Prostate Cancer.
A proud member of the Italian-Canadian community, Romeo supports the Art Gallery of Ontario and is a founding donor of Galleria Italia, a glass and wood façade spanning a Toronto city block. Galleria Italia is a crowning showcase of the museum’s expansion efforts. The Galleria Italia was named in recognition of the funding consortium of Italian-Canadian families who made the creation of the façade possible.
Romeo is a member of the Famee Furlane Club of Toronto. He also supports Habitat for Humanity, one of the most prominent charitable organizations that address poverty and lack of housing in today’s world.

Romeo DiBattista Jr. was the CEO of Rom-Neg Construction Inc. from 1999-2004 and then moved on to Standard Securities Capital Corporation, where he worked as an investment banker. He became Chairman and CEO of Brovi Investments Limited in 1998. He oversees all of the firm’s investments in retail, commercial, and industrial real estate.
Since 2009, he has balanced his role at Brovi Investments Limited with his role as Chairman and CEO of The Recycling Depot Group of Companies. Romeo has over a decade of experience in energy and environmental solutions.
In his spare time, Romeo enjoys boating, skiing, four-wheeling, dirt bike riding, snowmobiling, and more.
